DAY 1

🚐 23:00 – 01:30 | Evening Pick-Up & Departure Your adventure begins with a late-night pick-up between 11:00 PM – 12:00 AM from your accommodation in Banyuwangi City or surrounding areas. After gathering all guests, the driver will make a quick stop at a local health check clinic, where all participants are required to undergo a basic medical check (a local government requirement for Ijen visitors). The process is quick, done together as a group, and costs only IDR 35.000 per person, which you can pay directly to the driver after the check. Once completed, we’ll continue driving up to Paltuding Post, the starting point of the hike.

🎒 01:30 – 02:00 | Arrival at Paltuding & Pre-Hike Preparation At Paltuding, your guide will give a short safety briefing, distribute your gas mask, headlamp, mineral water, and help you get ready for the trek. Take time to stretch and get used to the cool mountain air. Temperatures can drop at night, so be sure to bring a jacket or warm layers.

🥾 02:00 – 05:00 | Hiking & Blue Fire Experience We’ll begin the 3 km night hike to the crater rim, surrounded by peaceful forest and starlit skies. Upon reaching the top, the guide will lead you down into the crater to witness the rare Blue Fire, ****a natural electric-blue flame caused by ignited sulfur gas. This phenomenon is truly unique and best seen before sunrise.

🌅 05:00 – 06:30 | Sunrise at the Crater Rim After the Blue Fire, climb back to the rim to watch the sunrise over the Ijen crater lake, one of the most surreal landscapes in Indonesia. You’ll have time to enjoy the view, take photos, and soak in the fresh mountain air. Oxygen and first aid are available if needed.

🧭 06:30 – 08:00 | Return Hike & Light Refreshments We’ll hike back to Paltuding Post, now lit by morning sun, giving you a fresh look at the trail. Once you arrive, please enjoy warm fried bananas that we served. There are lots of available food stalls nearby if you want to get some food and drinks to celebrate the end of your trek.

🚗 08:00 – 09:00 | Return to Banyuwangi After a short rest, we’ll begin the drive back to your accommodation in Banyuwangi City, arriving around 09:00 AM. The rest of the day is yours to relax, nap, or continue exploring.

🍝 09:00 – 17:00 | Free Time to Rest, Wait, or Explore After returning from the Ijen hike and checking out around 12:00, guests can rest in the common area, use available facilities, or explore the surroundings while waiting for the evening transfer to Malang. It’s the perfect time to relax, enjoy some local food, or take a walk around Banyuwangi before the long journey back.

🚐 17:00 – 03:00 | Transfer to Malang After finishing the Ijen hike and getting some rest at your accommodation, you’ll begin the overnight transfer back to Malang around 17:00-19:00. The long-distance journey takes approximately 8–10 hours by car, depending on traffic and road conditions. You’ll arrive in Malang early the next morning.

DAY 2 🚶‍♀️ 03:00 – 00:00 | Rest or Explore Malang Before the Tour Begins Once you arrive in Malang early in the morning (around 03:00), you’ll have the whole day to rest at your accommodation or take time to stroll around the city. Malang offers charming cafés, colonial architecture, and local markets, perfect for a relaxed day before the adventure starts. Use this time to recharge, prepare your gear, or enjoy some local flavors before the tour departure later at night.

DAY 3 🕛 00:00 – 01:00 | Pick-up from Malang for Bromo Tour We’ll pick you up directly from your accommodation in Malang or Batu City (hostel, hotel, train station, or bus terminal). Depending on your location, you may be picked up by a shuttle car that takes you to the Bromo basecamp, or in some cases, directly by Jeep. Both options are arranged to ensure a smooth and timely journey. ** ☕ 01:00 – 02:30 | Rest Stop & Jeep Allocation (if needed) If arriving by shuttle, you’ll take a short break at our basecamp rest area, where you can stretch, grab a warm drink, and receive a short briefing about the tour. This is also where guests will be assigned to their 4WD Jeeps. If you’re already in a Jeep, enjoy a quick rest before continuing.

🌄 02:30 – 05:30 | Sunrise View at Mount Bromo We’ll drive across the Sea of Sand toward one of the best sunrise viewpoints in the area. Once there, enjoy free time to explore and find the perfect spot as the sky lights up over Mount Bromo, Mount Semeru, and Mount Batok. It’s the highlight moment, don’t forget your camera!

🌋 05:30 – 09:30 | Crater & Bromo Surroundings Exploration After sunrise, the tour continues with a visit to Bromo Crater. You can hike to the top or ride a horse (optional, not included). Along the way, we’ll also explore iconic spots like Widodaren Hill, Mount Batok, the dramatic Whispering Sand desert, and the lush Teletubbies Hill savannah. These areas show the diverse beauty of Bromo, from volcanic landscapes to green rolling hills.

🚐 09:30 – 11:00 | Return to Basecamp & Transfer Back to Malang After the adventure ends, we’ll return to basecamp and transfer you back to your original pick-up point in Malang or Batu City. You’ll arrive around 11:00–12:00 PM, depending on traffic and weather conditions.
