DAY 1
🚐 17:00 – 09:00 | Transfer to Malang
From your accommodation, you’ll begin the overnight transfer to Malang around 17:00-19:00. The long-distance journey takes approximately 12–15 hours by car, depending on traffic and road conditions.
🚶♀️ 09:00 – 00:00 | Rest or Explore Malang Before the Tour Begins
Once you arrive in Malang in the morning, you’ll have the whole day to rest at your accommodation or take time to stroll around the city. Malang offers charming cafés, colonial architecture, and local markets, perfect for a relaxed day before the adventure starts. Use this time to recharge, prepare your gear, or enjoy some local flavors before the tour departure tomorrow morning.
DAY 2
🚐 08:00 – 09:00 | Pick-up from Malang
We’ll start your journey with a morning pick-up from your accommodation in Malang City. We only provide 2 nights dorms, since the returning from waterfall tour passes our check out time, you can put your luggage in our lobby. Don’t forget to bring your hiking shoes and a change of clothes, things might get wet!
🛣️ 09:00 – 11:00 | Drive to Tumpak Sewu Area
Enjoy a comfortable ride through the East Java countryside as we make our way to Lumajang Regency, home of Tumpak Sewu. Along the way, take in the view of rice fields, mountains, and quiet villages. It’s a peaceful drive that builds the excitement for the hike ahead.
🌳 11:00 – 14:00 | Tumpak Sewu Waterfall Exploration
Once we arrive, the adventure begins! Hike down to the waterfall base through a forest trail and small rivers. It’s a moderately challenging trek, but the view at the bottom is 100% worth it. You’ll have time to explore the falls, take photos, and enjoy the raw beauty of nature up close. Don’t worry, your guide will ensure everything is safe and enjoyable along the way.
🚗 14:00 – 16:00 | Return to Malang
After drying off and resting for a bit, we’ll begin the drive back to Malang City. Expect to arrive around 4–5 PM. The perfect end to a refreshing and unforgettable day in nature. Please let us know in advance if you want to extend your stay at our dormitory.
